Have a safe and happy holiday season!

Web site updating is moving along.  Our Dealers' sites link list is growing.  Look over the Distributors' and industry links page.  If your site should be there, email the webmaster@schmarje.com .  We are interested in exchanging links with sites that complement our efforts.

We now take Visa™ and Master Card™.  A purchase order from an open account customer is still welcome.

The online center order/information form has now been joined by the threadmill order/information form.
The printable fax form is now on its own page for convenience.

We have used your product several times in the past and were always satisfied with the generated thread.

In one case we cut almost 600 5/8" threads in a 4" grid with a 1.5" thread length into a steel tooling plate.  Even though we initially generated a wrong program, spiraling the entire thread length downward, we used only one tool for the entire job.

In another case we cut metric threads M30x1.5 into a flat bottom hole into copper plate.  The tolerance was very tight and we had to cut the thread almost to the bottom.  The fact that we used a threadmill allowed us to cut the thread very fast while being able to reach exactly the required class of fit.  This thread would have been very difficult to machine using any other method known to us.  We ran a spindle speed of 2000 rpm and a feed rate of 10" (to be on the safe side).

Both jobs were performed on high speed milling machines, with limited torque available.  Using threadmilling, we generated better threads in less time.

I want to thank Schmarje Tool Co. for their metric thread mill they custom made to our specs. Since we started using this tool instead of taps, our reject factor has dropped to 'ZERO'. We have been using the same carbide thread mill for 7 months and it is still cutting to size without any wear adjustments.

Thanks again,

With your TM1500-12, we increased our parts per tool by 4 times, eliminated recuts and in-house sharpening, and it is less expensive than what we were using. All this is with a tool length of 14 inches, cutting alloy steel castings.
